Dr. Sandhu was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia and went on to complete his undergraduate Medical Degree (MD) at Dalhousie University in Halifax. He then moved back to Vancouver to pursue his residency and fellowship training in General Internal Medicine at the University of British Columbia. He is a certified Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and holds a clinical faculty appointment as a Clinical Instructor with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Sandhu has been practicing since 2011 as a General Internal Medicine Specialist on the North Shore and has an inpatient practice at Lions Gate Hospital, in North Vancouver. He has had a long standing interest in the management of cardiovascular disease and prevention.

Dr. Adam Chruscicki, MD, PhD, FRCPC completed his Internal Medicine training at UBC, followed by a year long fellowship in Lipidology and Cardiovascular Prevention at Saint Paul’s Hospital. Dr. Chruscicki is practicing as a General Internal Medicine Specialist at the Lions Gate Hospital and visiting specialist in Northern BC in Smithers. In addition to General Internal Medicine, Dr. Chruscicki has a keen interest in prevention and holistic approach to health and illness.
